K-Style Seamless Aluminum Gutters
Most builders in the DMV use K-style gutters. Our K-style gutter former can produce 5-inch or 6-inch K-style gutters on-site. K-style gutters are generally stronger due to their design which is why they are commonly used.
We are able to offer other gutter types, however, those are not made on-site. For example, half-round gutters are ordered through a supplier and are then delivered to your home for installation by our technicians.

The following are the aluminum color options that we can provide for your gutter installation in Maryland. Please note that we generally stock white aluminum as this is the most common. Should you want a different color for your project there will be an additional charge.
How Much Are New Apex Gutters?
Our seamless gutters are priced very clearly for our clients as Apex Roofing and Construction takes great pride in being transparent with our clients. One major factor for the costs is the height of your home. For two-story homes that require white K-style gutters, we charge the following prices:

5-inch gutters and downspouts are $7 dollars a linear foot.

6-inch gutters and downspouts are $8 dollars a linear foot
*13 linear feet of downspout is need per story.
Prices are also based on a min of 100 linear feet of gutters (downspouts excluded).

Downspout Installation
When you purchase a new gutter system from Apex Roofing and Construction, we also replace your downspouts. Depending on if you wanted 5-inch or 6-inch gutters the downspout size will be paired accordingly. Generally, we pair 5-inch apex gutters with 2x3-inch downspouts and 6-inch apex gutters with 3x4-inch downspouts.
We generally prefer to install 6-inch gutters for our clients as these gutters can handle more water and offer bigger downspouts to avoid clogs. However, on smaller homes, the 6-inch gutters can appear to be too large and do not pair up with the aesthetics of the home.

Gutter Cover Installations
For our clients that are tired of cleaning their gutters, we offer gutter guards, gutter screens, and gutter-like helmets. A common misconception is that these gutter covers mean that a gutter will never need to be cleaned. Even gutters with gutter covers will need to be cleaned at some point.

Leaky Gutter Corners or Miters?
Gutter corners are commonly connected to corner pieces, called miters. These miters are separate pieces and are sealed. Over time, the seals can break and start to allow leaks at your miters (also known as corners). We can replace or reseal these miters for you so that you avoid additional damage to the interior of your home. We can also suggest a new seamless gutter installation in Maryland, so you don’t have to worry about leaky miters.
